Will a forklift certification help me to get a job that does not involve a forklift?
I applied to the Home Depot and Lowes, and surprisingly, they did not even ask if I am forklift certified, what gives? I just got my license, and I know that places like those need forklift drivers. Does anyone know any other employers that I should consider applying to? Also, does a forklift certification increase my chances of landing a warehouse job even though I won’t necessarily operate one?

For Home Depot and Lowe’s, yes.
Your forklift certification doesn’t necessary help you to land a job if it is not a requirement. However, at your interview, do not hesitate to tell them this addition skill. At least they know help is available when needed.
